Breakout Audio Rack

LSAV utilizes this all-in-one audio rack for breakout rooms. The rack contains 1-Mackie 1642 mixer, DBX2231 equalizer, 2-Shure UC UHF wireless systems, Tascam CDA500 CD/Cassette player and VHS recorder. With a rear patch panel for easy access to the audio devices, system setup time is drastically reduced. This rack needs only a speaker system to be complete.

Digital Audio Snakes Systems

Digital snakes operate just like an analog snake, but they use Cat-5 or Cat-6 Ethernet cable between the inputs and outputs. Some digital snakes, such as the Whirlwind system have matrix ability as well. Digital snakes can handle up to 256 channels of audio over a single Cat-6 cable. Digital snakes typically have one or more boxes at both ends in place of the standard fan-to-box configuration of analog snakes.
